Summary of duties:

  • Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential environmental risks and non-compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate environmental risks.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of company operations, including waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation programs.
  • Experience with the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Department of Transportation/Hazardous Materials, Toxic Substances Control Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, conditions, and guidelines pertaining to environmental compliance within the energy industry, including water, waste, and air management.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years' experience working in a related field.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree
