Position Overview:
The Engineering Process Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing and refining the manufacturing processes within the plant. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient production operations, implement continuous improvement strategies, and uphold quality compliance. The specialist will also play a vital role in new product launches, process enhancement, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for improving manufacturing processes, creating actionable plans to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material utilization.
- Provide solutions for machine and process-related challenges, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process standards, and tooling specifications to ensure standardized operations and reduce errors.
- Oversee tooling and die management to improve machine performance and resolve tooling-related issues.
- Review machine guarding systems to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- Analyze data from the Connected Factory to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Leverage data analysis and statistical tools to utilize process data for identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support change management efforts related to process modifications, equipment upgrades, and the introduction of new technologies.
- Collaborate with the product development team to assist in the design and implementation of new products and process changes, creating a comprehensive project plan for successful product launches.
