Job Summary:Internal Medicine Residency Program Director Opportunity in Trinity, FL
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in conjunction with the University of South Florida College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional physician to join our Internal Medicine residency as Program Director.

Qualified Candidates:

Established internal medicine residency program started in 2019Per the ACGME's formal requirements to be considered for Program Director, applicants must have:Specialty expertise and at least three (3) years of documented educational and/or administrative experienceMust include ongoing clinical activityDocumented scholarly activity in the form of research, publications, poster presentations, journals, book chapters, etc. within the past five (5) yearsWe offer 20 categorical internal medicine positions per year (but are approved for 72 positions)Minimum of 50% FTE of non-clinical time will be dedicated to program administration duties Incoming physician will have the opportunity to apply for faculty appointment with University of South Florida College of MedicineWill be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient careMust be American Board-certified in internal medicine (ABIM or AOBIM)Incentive/Benefits Package:Exceptional base salary plus bonusesComprehensive benefits package including health and 401kRelocation assistanceNo state income tax
