My client, a pipe coating manufacturer in the oil and gas industries, employs around 200 people. Their primary product is rebar pipes. They have a strong workplace culture with low employee turnover, and many employees have been with the company for 10 to 15 years.

Job Description

Oversee the implementation of a traceability software project.Analyze customer specifications and develop inspection and test plans (ITPs) according to their requirements.Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Monitor employee productivity to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.Document and report all damage observed on customer-owned pipe and rebar, whether inbound or outbound, regardless of the damage's origin.Maintain a database tracking reject rates and their causes.Keep calibration records for plant equipment up-to-date.Review daily reject reports and investigate to identify root causes.Ensure all quarantined products are properly handled and resolved daily.Generate a monthly quality report.Update and maintain quality-related forms, manuals, and work instructions.Manage state Department of Transportation (DOT) files and ensure Midwest Pipe Coating complies with all relevant state certification requirements.Collaborate with other departmental managers and employees to uphold the company's core values of Safety, Professionalism, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement.Perform other duties as assigned.
