Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all DJS travel and event arrangements are met and comply with the necessary requirements, such as budgetary constraints and travel policy. Review and properly code the travel, reconciling CPC monthly reports.\r
Note: This position is eligible to work a hybrid telework schedule.\r
POSITION DUTIES

Receive all travel and\r
lodging for the assigned Programs/Areas of Headquarter, Community, and\r
Residential – review for accuracy, communicate errors & request corrections\r
within 48 hours of receipt. Communicate all form errors with the traveler.\r
Out-of-state travel – communicate necessary PII to book flight, bus, train,\r
etc.\r
\r

Must contact hotels to\r
make hotel reservations, contact DBM's Statewide Contracted Vendor for car\r
rentals, train, and bus & flight accommodations for out-of-state routine\r
visits and training.\r
\r
\r
\r
\r
Advise clients of travel\r
arrangements as well as any changes that may occur before the time to travel.\r
Send appropriate Travel Confirmation Packets (travel accommodations) within 3\r
business days of receiving accurate travel forms to each traveler. Forward\r
travel advancements to Finance and direct any concerns or inquiries to\r
appropriate account personnel.\r

\r
Must submit travel\r
monthly CPC reconciliation packet to the Authorized Reviewer by the 15th of\r
each month (or assigned due date if otherwise directed by Authorized Reviewer).\r
CPC packet must have all receipts and credits. FMIS requisitions and quotes\r
must be in the CPC packet. All purchases must be approved prior to purchasing.\r
\r
\r
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:�� Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r
Experience:�One year of administrative staff or professional work. \r
Notes:\r
1. Candidates may substitute 30�college credit hours from an accredited college or university for�the required experience.\r
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included�regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required�experience. \r
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
