Youth Soccer Coach

Are you passionate about soccer and looking for a part-time role in Youth Soccer coaching?
Soccer XS is committed to supporting the growth and development of youth soccer players, coaches and clubs. We believe all participants deserve a positive and developmentally appropriate experience in youth soccer. We provide local soccer clubs with a variety of developmentally appropriate youth soccer programs and each program has been carefully designed to positively impact the common challenges faced by youth soccer clubs. Our programs are easy to implement and provide a clear pathway of development for players and coaches.
Join the Soccer XS team to develop, engage and inspire the youth soccer community. Whether you're just starting out as a coach or you've been around the block, we have a coaching opportunity that's right for you.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage and interact with children ages 4-15 in a fun and outgoing manner.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes.
- Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and responsibility when interacting with players and their families.
- Be able to create and use age-appropriate soccer activities to engage players for a full session.
- Be able to adapt to the Youth Soccer Coach role as it shifts slightly depending on the season and program you are assigned to.
Youth Soccer Coach Opportunities Include:
- Recreational youth coach
- Competitive youth coach
- Camps and clinic coach
- Small group and private training coach
What do we need from you?
- A background and passion for soccer
- USSF or USC coaching license is a PLUS. If you are unlicensed but come with experience, we will pay for you to attain your first USSF coaching license online.
- Able to reliably commit to a couple of evenings a week for practices and Saturday mornings for games.
- An outgoing and enthusiastic personality and the ability to create a positive and fun environment for young players
- Pass a background check
- You must be based locally in CT and be legal to work in the US (we don't provide US work VISA's)
- Valid Driver's license and personal vehicle to reliably commute within a 20-mile radius / 30-minute drive to programs.
- Experience working with children is a plus - this role would be a great opportunity for teachers and other sports coaches who have a passion for soccer
What you'll get from us:
- Competitive Pay: $22 - $50 per hour. Pay is hourly and the pay rate is based on coaching role, qualifications and experience. Some positions offer salaries for club team coaches.

- This opportunity is open to candidates who may be new to coaching soccer specifically and are looking to get started in the industry

Soccer XS is an industry leading professional coaching company. We support the success and development of town level soccer clubs. Soccer XS provides camps, clinics, training programs and professional coaching services through-out New England.
