Senior Technical Recruiter, Contractor
Reports to: Director of Recruiting
Location: Remote US
Compensation: $70/hour
What We Do:
Founded in 2015 as a fully remote company by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress was built on a simple premise: to force hackers to earn every inch of their access.
Today's cyber-attacks aren't limited to large organizations with the security tools that can ward off threats. Hackers don't discriminate and will find a way to penetrate any vulnerability in any size business, which is why Huntress focuses on protecting those small to midsize businesses that make up the backbone of our economy.
Huntress stops hidden threats that sneak past preventive security tools by utilizing our award-winning security platform and expert human threat hunters through dynamic products, including Managed EDR, MDR for Microsoft 365, and Managed Security Awareness Training.
Join the hunt and help us stop hackers in their tracks
About the Role:
Huntress is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiting contractor to partner with our current team and execute our talent strategy to hire the best talent as we continue to grow. We've more than doubled headcount in the last 24 months, and our upcoming goals remain ambitious as the business continues to launch new products, expand into new markets, and grow our existing customer base.
We're looking for someone with experience in full-lifecycle recruiting who is comfortable leading searches within product and engineering at all levels. Experience staffing positions in cybersecurity will be beneficial.
You'll be responsible for partnering with hiring teams, building and driving recruiting strategies, sourcing, and evaluating candidates - all while maintaining a candidate-centric process and providing a strong partnership to the business.
We estimate the duration of this contract to be four to six months, with the option to extend or move full-time, possible.
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit candidates using a variety of methods, including industry groups and underrepresented talent communities
- Act as a business partner to hiring managers, develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Experience with Slack, G-suite, scheduling, and holding video interviews, as well as technical candidate screening and evaluation
- Screen candidate resumes and conduct interviews to assess relevant knowledge, experience, aptitudes, and compensation alignment
- Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the executive team
- Manage online job postings
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter hiring for a variety of technical roles, including software engineers, design, product, IT, and leadership roles
- Experience hiring within growing SaaS companies with a high bar for technical talent
- Comfortable owning several requisitions at one time
- Experience hiring Ruby on Rails engineers
- Familiarity with modern ATS tools, preferably Greenhouse
- Experience with Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment across multiple time zones, including international
- Demonstrated experience recruiting hard-to-fill engineering and product management roles
- Experience recruiting within the cybersecurity industry is helpful but not required
Huntress is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are.
We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other legally protected status.
We do discriminate against hackers who try to exploit small businesses.
