DATA ANALYTICS PRODUCT MANAGER

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Technology, the Data Analytics Product Manager will develop, own, and deliver on the roadmap for how ePromos can successfully evolve into a data-driven organization. This role is a partner with the overall business, working with leadership across departments to understand their critical needs, and their "nice to haves", and help them gain deep insights from their data. The person in this role will first and foremost be a leader in data who can articulate value, evangelize the power of data to provide relevant insights, lead transformational projects around our data capacity, and enforce best practices on data management.

The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties required in this position. The job description is a summary of the major duties and responsibilities. This role may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional duties as requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties, Skills, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Establish and lead the data governance model at ePromos
  • Develop and take ownership of the roadmap for ePromos data and analytics efforts
  • Manage the Data Analytics development backlog
  • Lead on data integration project efforts
  • Work closely with the Product Management group as a whole to identify opportunities for intelligent automation in ePromos business processes
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, and modeling
  • Lead cross-functional data analytics projects, communicating the impacts and results of those projects to stakeholders within the company
  • Will manage two direct reports (Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst)

​​​​​​​MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Greater than 5 years of experience in data and analytics with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Strong "soft" interpersonal skillset, able to influence towards alignment without direct authority over stakeholders
  • Experience in developing and implementing data governance models in enterprise environments
  • Strong time management and project management skillset
  • Strong background in tying strategic corporate goals to analytics initiatives
  • A data evangelist who understands and can easily articulate the value of good data and the insights it can provide
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Producing functional and technical documentation for solutions
  • Will be aligning entrepreneurial, highly-empowered stakeholders to standardized processes

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Maintaining a stationary position for up to 50% of the workday
  • Consistently operate a computer and other productivity equipment including keyboard, webcam, and document scanner
  • Clarity of vision of 30" or less
  • Ability to perceive sound in the capacity of oral communication
  • Exertion of up to 10lbs. of force as related to the lifting or movement of objects
