You will develop, read, and understand technical drawings and documents and be able to translate them into operational mechanisms. Travel Requirement: 10% Mechanical Engineer Level 2: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from accredited college or university. Five (5) to Ten (10) years of job-related experience.

Mechanical Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from accredited college or university Eleven (11) to Sixteen (16) years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of simulation software and hardware solutions such as engines, machines, instruments, or controls.
  • Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of simulation models.
  • Conduct research to gather data and information to support simulation modeling.
  • Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
  • Produce specifications for products and choose raw materials and components to be used in production.
  • Build models and prototypes of the product and tests the design.
  • Study the test data and make comparisons with similar designs.
  • Develop control systems and monitor production.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Conduct performance testing and analysis of simulation models to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and team members.
  • Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues and answering questions.
  • Oversee the manufacture, installation, and integration process of designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the simulation industry.
