About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development, qualification, integration, and coordination of advanced technology systems, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical performance and risk reduction activities, including production transition phases, design upgrades, and vehicle integrations.
  • Develop technical data packages for hardware systems.
  • Oversee electrical, electromagnetic environmental effects, thermal, and structural analysis.
  • Work with integration and test, planning, and production counterparts to develop key delivery milestone roadmaps.
  • Lead requirements, design, integration, and analysis teams to develop specifications, drawings, test procedures, and verification plans.
  • Experience, drive, and demonstrated capability to lead a team of engineers of varying disciplines to provide technical excellence and mission success.
  • Oversight and support of suppliers who deliver hardware systems.
  • Domestic travel may be required.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical preferred).
  • Engineering team leadership experience.
Desired Skills
  • IPT experience.
  • Cost account management (CAM) experience is a plus.
  • Production experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Customer/program leadership interface experience is a plus.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule

The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
