Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a/an Director, Office of Technology Business Management, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities in the Treasury OCIO associated with IT policy formulation, presentation, and execution for a large, complex substantive program.



Duties

As a Director, Office of Technology Business Management, you will:

  • Serve as the OCIO IT Policy and Planning senior subject matter expert (SME) and serves in a position with duties that involve the determination, development, or influencing of IT policy.
  • Reviewing IT Spend reports from IT financial management tools, such as TBM, CPIC, and providing recommendations that could result in a departmental IT policy and directive.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT policies to ensure that they are properly implemented.
  • Manage Treasury's IT investments using the TBM framework and CPIC guidelines under OMB Circular A-11 guidance in order to maintain and improve their overall efficiency and effectiveness and meet the OMB, Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Establish processes for implementation and for measuring effectiveness of long and short-range plans.
  • Provide leadership and expert advice in defining IT planning and policy objectives for the department. Provides advice and recommendations on a wide range of program issues, particularly in the area IT spend at the bureaus and the department.
  • Maintain internal and external organizational relationships to plan and execute IT budget and spend goals of Treasury.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
