The Athletics Department is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director: Compliance. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.
The mission of the OSU Department of Athletics is to Go Build Excellent, Authentic, Visionary Student-Athletes (GO B.E.A.V.S.).
Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, the Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance assists in ensuring compliance with all University, PAC-12 Conference and interpretive authority for NCAA rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics. Assists the Associate Athletic Director in day-to-day management of the office including assisting in investigations related to rules violations, completing required reporting and making recommendations to senior management around ensuring institutional control.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty):

Typically requires Bachelor's degree in field related to assigned responsibilities. Experience interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, policies and contracts.
May require certification or licensure.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Three years of work experience within a NCAA Division I compliance or related unit.
  • Familiarity with interpreting and applying NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
