Who We Are:

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and chemical dependency. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Overview:

Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manger. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri.

Experience: Two or three years experience required in patient care.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Education: BS degree in nursing management or healthcare business-related field preferred.

Preferred Experience: Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
