Founded in 1912 as the children's hospital at Johns Hopkins, the Johns Hopkins Children's Center offers one of the most comprehensive pediatric medical programs in the country, with more than 92,000 patient visits and nearly 9,000 admissions each year. Johns Hopkins Children Center is Maryland's largest children's hospital and the only state-designated trauma service and burn unit for pediatric patients. It has recognized centers of excellence in dozens of pediatric subspecialties, including allergy, cardiology, cystic fibrosis, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, pulmonary and transplant.

About this position:

The Clinical Informatics Program Coordinator provides leadership to achieve unit, departmental, and institutional objectives within a rapidly changing environment. Applies advanced knowledge of clinical practice, unit operations, clinical informatics, research, quality and safety, and professional development to bridge clinical practice and information technology (IT), enhance quality and safety, and build staff competence in IT. Promotes innovation and excellence in clinical, service, and team performance. Manages multiple technical programs & implementation of new equipment & technology.

Shifts: 8 hour day shift

Who Should Apply:

  • MSN from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
  • Requires five years of experience as a registered nurse; Pediatrics experience strongly preferred
  • Requires 3-5 years with leadership, complex project management responsibilities, and computer systems and applications
  • EPIC experience required
