About the job

Our HQ Sales Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone achieves its growth and profitable goals. By joining our Finance team, you will act as a liaison between our HQ team and Sales Finance divisions, BU finance teams and trade accounting organization through rolling forecast process and monthly close. We are currently looking to hire an Analyst/Sr. Analyst, HQ Sales Finance & Planning based in Broomfield, CO or White Plains, NY

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Act as an internal expert through Rolling Forecast (RF) and monthly close processes, providing guidance and setting achievable deadlines to Divisional Sales Finance teams.Manage relationships and communications with BU finance teams, providing Gross to Net P&L analysis including R&Os.Own Top line balance sheet; Monthly reviews with Trade Accounting.Act as a liaison between Finance and Trade Accounting. Prepare all manual journal entries.Manage Vol/Mix/Price analysis post-GPS and monthly close. Variance analysis vs. prior rolling forecast and prior year.Lead monitoring of total trade expenditure with sales divisions to ensure promotion planning accuracy.Manage relationships with Demand Planning teams during forecast process. Facilitate conversations and bridge gaps between Sales Divisions and Demand Planning.Maintain and publish Balance Sheet, Compliance and Overspend report, and Customer and Channel reporting in company's global toolSystems utilized include Kantar, Tagetik

About you

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field is required. MBA or other advanced degree in Finance or Accounting is preferredYou have a minimum 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis requiredYou have experience working within a CPG environment is strongly preferredYou have some working knowledge of trade systems, SAP and/or Essbase, SAP is preferredYou have strong financial knowledge and general accounting knowledgeYou have MS Excel proficiency and strong MS PowerPoint skillsYou have the ability to think independently and influence decision making processYou have the ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficienciesYou have the ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company and external stakeholders
The base compensation range for this position is $75k-92k commensurate with experience.
