LOCATION = Hybrid work schedule – Los Angeles (2 – 3 days as needed, location is Monterey Park, CA)

DURATION = 18 months or longer

JOB DESCRIPTION


• Communication with stakeholders of the meter replacement project


• Oversight of the 3rd party vendor doing development on this project


• Scrum Master of the newly formed development team

o Guide team on the adoption of Agility framework with the goal of maximizing productivity and speedily deliver value to stakeholders

o Meeting facilitation – stand-ups, retros, sprint planning

o Help the team reach a consensus on what they can achieve during each development sprint

o Assign and delegate tasks appropriately (ensuring the team's work aligns with priorities and the overall schedule)

o Remove blockers and obstacles and escalate issues as appropriate

o Reporting – burn down charts, velocity

AGILE MATURITY of this team


• Up until this point, the existing team seems to follow the agile process, but they need this person to elevate their maturity level.


• Must have ability to coach a team on Agile and get them started off on the right foot

SKILLS REQUIRED


• 10+ years overall experience in Project / Program Management to include strong Agile experience


• 5+ years combined as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach (strong understanding in various Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)


• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are critical for this role


• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly


• Ability and willingness to do both Agile/Scrum duties as well as Project / Program Manager duties


• Experience within Scaled Agile Frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS,


• Proficient in a software collaboration management tool; i.e. Azure DevOps (preferred), Jira, or similar

CERTIFICATIONS


• At least one Agile Scrum or Scrum Master certification, such as CSM, PSM, etc.
