As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Health Equity, you are responsible for advancing pharmacy and allied healthcare practice through health equitable care research, application of interventions, education, and advocacy around health literacy, trauma informed and gender affirming care. The Director of Health Equity is a member of the CPS Clinical Services team and reports to the Senior Vice President, Clinical Services and Program Development. The primary duties of this role include:

  • Developing and evolving organizational strategy towards structural abilities and capabilities in the forms of policy and procedures, outcome metrics, data analysis, feedback loops, cultural competencies, and education
  • Designing interventions and programmatic approaches to operationalize within pharmacies and health systems served
  • Measuring and reporting outcomes and impact on patient populations served
  • Precepting fellows and residents during learning experiences; design research or quality improvement projects

Knowledge and experience with the following:

  • Health-related social needs
  • Health literacy
  • Trauma informed care
  • Cognitive burden
  • Gender affirming care
  • Health-related community resources and collaborative potential
  • Professional pioneering
  • Presence towards mitigating disparities

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week primarily Monday - Friday, day shift with occasional evening and weekends as needed and up to 50% travel.

Required Qualifications:

  • PharmD or MS degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • 2+ years post graduate health equity training preferred
  • A current Pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet software and pharmacy information systems
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
  • Effective verbal, written communication and professional presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and client facing activities
  • Ability to pass company Motor Vehicle (MVR) background check
  • Ability to travel away from home location by air or car up to 50% of the time
