Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno's College of Engineering is seeking an analytical and dynamic individual to provide direct help as a HR Fiscal Support. This position provides administrative, operational, fiscal, human resources, data support for a Dean's Office and College of Engineering department as needed.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Managing operating accounts
  • Monitoring and revising budgets for faculty accounts
  • Budget amendments, accounting adjustments and end of year closing
  • Coordinating employment contracts for all personnel work types
  • Advising/training departmental Administrative Assistants and student workers
  • Compiling/reviewing reports, and asset works
  • Provide data support and reports for post award transactions to the College
  • Other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience; OR
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of program support experience equivalent to an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada state service which included applying complex laws and regulations, composing written materials and maintaining records; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above

  • Candidates with experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Teams), Zoom, and Workday are encouraged to apply.

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
