Job Description
The Facilities Manager II serves as the primary point of contact for customers, managing, supervising, and coordinating internal and external services to provide a safe and productive environment for patients, guests, and employees. This role involves leadership and coordination of project teams, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and meet all objectives and regulations. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between clients/users and project participants, managing facility services such as parking, security, and maintenance, maintaining customer relationships through regular interactions and site visits, and ensuring a healthy work environment. The Facilities Manager II also handles financial management of cost centers, implements quality control measures, manages design work approvals, prepares project records, and oversees contract negotiations. This position may require on-call availability during non-standard hours to respond to emergencies.

The position is based offsite, across the street from the main hospital. Work time is primarily spent onsite at the hospital performing rounds. The attire is business formal. The role involves collaboration with other Facility Managers, coordinators, field staff, and food services in a non-union environment.
