We are seeking a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization's operations at Bruker AXS LLC located in Kirkland, Washington. The Operations Manager role involves implementing efficient processes and practices across the organization. As an Operations Manager, you'll formulate strategies, improve performance, procure materials, and ensure compliance. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining compliance, efficiency, and profitability during our business operations.

The Kirkland facility is expected to grow very fast in the couple of years and the main focus of this role is to manage this growths including to set up a separate manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you will:

  1. Ensure Efficient Operations:
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations.
  • Be responsible for factory output and quality.
  • Lead and develop direct reports to create a high-performing, customer-centric operation.
  • LEAN manufacturing background is an advantage.
Strategic Initiatives:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives, including process improvement, supplier development, and outsourcing.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Form a close relationship with the on-site product development team.
  • Support new product development and introductions.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with the headquarters.
Compliance and Efficiency:
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective manner.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Examine financial data to improve profitability.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.

Qualifications

Requirements and Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • A degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

While SAP knowledge is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Bruker Corporation offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and tuition assistance (as applicable). Salary range $127,000 and $165,000.
