What You'll Do

  • Work within a defined territory to hunt for new clients and increase SAP footprint by building relationships with new and existing customers through traditional and digital means.
  • Consult with technical and business buyers regarding SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), a unified technology environment optimized for SAP applications.
  • Influence customers in IT, technology and C-level roles about the value of SAP's Platform.
  • Support efforts to building business development capabilities and organization.
  • Help implement scalable revenue programs.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and generate high impact results.

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of business development experience in enterprise software sales preferred
  • Experience in ERP, application development, data management, planning and analytics, integration, automation, and/or artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
  • Experience and interest with technology trends and translating solutions into business value.
  • Industry knowledge: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Governance, Education, Retail, Wholesale, Fintech, Transportation
  • Interpersonal skills: passion, curiosity, collaborative working style, active listening, empathy, innovative and extra mile mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university. MBA or advanced degree in related discipline is a benefit.

The Sales Demand Associate is a strategic role in SAP to support efforts to identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities related to our partner ecosystem. Develop ROI-based business models to evaluate opportunities. Gather business intelligence and perform competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities. Helps market effectively and measure success of the operational and strategic plan for both Software and Cloud environments cross- industry and customer segment.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 45, ,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
