Senior Financial Manager New Orleans metro Compensation commensurate with experience and exceptional benefits.OVERVIEW The Senior Finance Manager will be the "Financial Steward" of the multiple plants, leading the plant accounting function covering two crucial plants – Louisiana and New York.
This individual will provide financial expertise and independent challenge to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce costs, and support product development activities.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious and motivated finance professional who wishes to deepen their understanding of manufacturing, while contributing to a leading global business.
As a strong believer in personal development, this client has previously sponsored employees at this level to complete certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Anaplan (Business Planning software) and for top performers, MBAs.
QUALIFICATIONS ? 6+ years' total professional experience preferred; with 2+ years' experience at a reputable professional services firm working in an advisory service (e.g., Transactions, Restructuring, Valuation or Deal Advisory types of services or as Management Consultant) ? CPA or overseas Chartered Accountant ? Experience supporting and analyzing performance of manufacturing & distribution operations is a plus.
? Supervise and develop/train the operational finance team to be effective business partners with the plant leadership team. ? Ensure that the teams complete month end close accurately and on a timely basis. ? Support annual budget process, to include detailed evaluation of all budget plans, budget compilation, and final presentation. ? Create and deliver professional presentations to senior leadership. ? Drive continuous process improvement within Finance and across all processes.
