Job Summary:

As a key member of the MPLOY team, the Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the agency, ensuring accurate and timely client billing and financial matters. This role requires a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company objectives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales and marketing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve financial efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a small business or marketing/advertising environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, including QuickBooks and Workamajig.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
