The Product Catalog Designer is responsible for integrating data, images, graphics, and publication components to create professional, high quality apparel and headwear sales tools under the guidance and supervision of the Collateral Manager.

In addition, they are responsible for expeditious throughput of collateral iterations, including catalogs, planners, Equipment Manager presentations, teambooks, Hometown/Local collections and blanks selections.

The Product Catalog Designer is responsible for the entire process from data merge, layout, proofing, and delivery.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With direction from the Collateral Manager and Senior Product Catalog Designer, create assigned publications utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, including typesetting, graphics, imagery, layouts, and an understanding of products and licenses for application into collateral.
  • Work directly with crossfunctional partners to ensure accurate representation of designated data and graphics, and delivery within specified production calendars.
  • Check and balance integrity of publication through submission of proofs and correction/revision as noted by stakeholders.
  • Engage with Creative Artists and Production Artists to collect assets integral to each layout – including product, covers, and applicable logos.

REQUIREMENTS

  • AA degree in Graphic Design plus minimum one year experience, preferred.
  • Strong design and layout skills and good color perception.
  • Proficiency using Macintoshbased equipment and Adobe software suite with InDesign focus.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of concentration, logic, problemsolving and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, selfmotivated, team player who can communicate effectively across multiple channels.
