Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Dallas is seeking a Contracts and Pricing Associate to capture and maintain standard to complex agreements, customer data, vendor data, and SAP contracts dealing with the purchase, sale or exchange of feedstocks and products under minimal supervision. Provide additional marketing support including pricing, terminal access, dispatch, invoice coding and M.S.D.S. distribution.

Job Duties

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Ensures all Company contracts and pricing are accurate, complete and delivered in a timely manner
  • Acts as liaison with marketing personnel, customers and other departments regarding contracts and pricing
  • Distributes new customer information packets
  • Creates and maintains agreements and master data customer, vendor and contract forms (deal sheets)
  • Downloads pricing data for price survey, verification, analysis and notification
  • Prepares sales, inventory, pricing and other marketing reports
  • Creates and maintains loading numbers and terminal access agreements
  • Updates and distributes nightly pricing to OPIS
  • Assists with TSW nominations for bulk exchange, purchase and sales movements
  • Provides back-up support for AP Coding on marketing invoices
  • Processes Yearly M.S.D.S. notification and distribution to new customers
  • Maintains all customer files and cabinets
  • Updates and maintains a procedure manual for Contracts & Pricing Associate job

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of five years related work experience is required.

Preferred Experience

Two years in the petroleum industry.

Education Level

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Educational Level:

A Bachelors Degree in business or technical discipline.

Required Skills

Ability to apply advanced clerical and data entry assignments based on broadly outlined guidelines. Proficient with Microsoft products including but not limited to MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Familiar with the mechanics of both contracts and pricing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written & verbal communication, as well as basic understanding of computer use. Intermediate level reading and writing skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Knowledge of trade locations and SAP navigation.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

None.
