Position duties for a body radiologist include but are not limited to the following:
Provides expert interpretation of advanced body MRI exams including prostate, liver, rectal, and female pelvic MRI.
Interprets low-dose CTs for an established Lung Cancer Screening program, and general chest, abdomen and pelvis CTs.
Interprets general ultrasound and plain films.
Supports patient care services with communication of exam results appropriate to the level of clinical importance or acuity.
Consults with providers on various aspects of imaging such as exam selection or appropriateness criteria.
Prescribes exam protocols and modifies as needed for specific clinical indications.
Provides oversight of technical image quality with feedback to technologists.
Provides education and supervision of diagnostic radiology residents rotating from the University of California, Irvine.

Provides education for members of the medical staff through interdisciplinary conferences/ tumor boards (e.g., Pulmonary, Liver/GI, and Genitourinary), committees or lecture series.

Attends staff meetings and participates in peer review/ peer learning.
Completes all mandatory annual training and maintains BLS certification.

Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off:
50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
