To ensure all grant reporting requirements are satisfied for assigned grants. Keep abreast of the reporting requirements as outlined by Federal, State, Private, Local and University regulations. Compile, analyze, and prepare budget reports for University funds related to grants and contracts. Reports directly to the Senior Accountant-Grants Supervisor in the Grant's Management department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance to the applicable grant guidelines
Reviews and provides monthly expenditure to budget reports to Principal Investigators to allow for timely use of grant funds
Reconciles grant expenditures to ensure funds are used properly
Prepares invoices and drawdown requests for monthly reimbursements from awarding agencies
Prepares grant closeout reports
Prepare month end journal entries as it relates to grants
Creates grant accounts and ensure appropriate budget is loaded to Banner Finance system
Review special reports and questionnaires as it relates to grant funding
Review and discuss budget information related to grants with project coordinators and/or awarding agency representatives
Adhere to requirements regarding performance reviews and audits from awarding agencies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from four-year college or university with 1-2 years of experience. Previous experience with managing grants preferred.Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
