Medical Manager

This position is responsible for determining the strategy of our Medical Operations based on the overarching business objectives. Role will be driving specific initiatives to ensure adherence/improvement to defined key performance indicators such as budget, Employee Net Promoter Score (NPS), Consumer and Client NPS, Attrition, and D&I Initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Establishes and monitors standards of medical assistance services provided by International Case ManagersReviews daily case steps with Operational Managers and ensures case are assigned appropriately and according to staffing availability. Responsible for the oversight and management of all medical department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ongoing evaluation of KPI standards based on business need and support from supervisory structureEmployee performance management, inclusive but not limited to appraisals, goal setting, coaching/mentoring, problem intervention, and basic skills assessment.Collaborates with Work Force Management (WFM) on the creation department schedules and addresses gaps when necessary.Supports with case complaints and escalations and engages when necessary to support clients and commercial team initiativesInterview and onboarding of new employees as necessarySupport commercial/sales meetings (Quarterly Business Reviews, Sales proposals, etc.) other additional ad-hoc needsCollaborates with Human Resources to support Wellness Initiatives for AXA EmployeesEngages with Global Medical Leads to implement AXA Partners guidelines and drive general case handling improvements with other AXA EntitesOversight, with the support of a supervisory staff of 1 to 2 individuals, a staff of 15-17 employees. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; strategic planning; commercial support and presentations; budget and forecasting; support of internal well-being initiatives.Your ProfileEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year University; and 7-10 years of related experience and/or trainingValid Nursing License with recent clinical skills.BLS, ACLS, CCM or equivalent preferred.French preferred, not required.10% - 15% travel required (international and domestic)What We Offer
