Job Description:

Overview: The Vice President of Sales and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the sales department, managing sales managers, and ensuring efficient operational processes. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive sales growth, streamline operations, and report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the sales team, including sales managers, to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to increase market share and revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for growth.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for sales and operations.
  • Team Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales and operations staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO on sales and operational performance.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales and operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop customer retention and loyalty programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management and operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience in the technology or manufacturing industry.
  • Prior experience in a senior leadership role.
