Job Description:
Sika is seeking a Finance and Accounting Assistant to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance and Accounting Team with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, general ledger account analysis, month-end closing support, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review, process, enter, and pay accounts payable
  • Generate 1099 statements
  • Manage accruals and departmental expense reports
  • Distribute customer invoices daily
  • Perform financial closing duties
  • Maintain sales tax credits records
  • Provide financial management support
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience in accounts payable processing and reconciliation
  • General ledger account reconciliation experience
  • Sales tax calculation and exemptions knowledge
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with sensitive information
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
