As the Deputy Assistant Commissioner and Chief Innovation Officer, you will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing transformational initiatives in financial management disciplines with potential for impacts across the federal government

Specifically, you will:
foster and communicate a shared vision for innovative solutions, capabilities, programs and initiatives;
analyze government financial operations and design solutions that streamline processes and harmonize government-wide financial data;
provide management, direction and guidance for developing and implementing new solutions, systems, initiatives and programs;
conduct complex and high-priority assignments involving extensive research and fact-finding on a variety of high-level and emerging subjects of direct and critical importance to the bureau;
partner with Fiscal Service and other federal agencies to secure the resources to launch an innovation portfolio comprised of solutions, capabilities, and technologies; and

Assist in shaping the future direction of financial management capabilities and practices in the federal government, leveraging state-of-the-art technology solutions to centralize the collection, storage and dissemination of the government's financial data to improve its financial management processes.
