This includes but is not limited to:

installation planning; engineering and architecture; facility design and construction; lease administration and management; space planning and management; military construction; maintenance, repair and alterations; custodial, building management and administration; maintenance of roads and grounds; and property management, furnishings, and supplies and equipment.

Provides expert guidance in program management, engineering, management control and support for planning, operations, maintenance repair, and alterations for all facilities on the Pentagon Reservation, including the Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration Plant, Remote Delivery Facility, Pentagon Athletic Center, Pentagon Library and Conference Center, surface parking and roadways, site utilities and distribution systems, and the Mark Center including two office towers, two parking structures, and site utilities and distribution systems, totaling approximately 9.7 million gross square feet of building space, and a plant value of an estimated $11 billion.

Develops and defends programmatic spending plans for Military Construction and Restoration and Maintenance programs to ensure compliance with Departmental priorities and maintain the long- term sustainability of government facilities controlled by WHS, including the Raven Rock Mountain Complex, for inclusion in annual Program Objective Memorandums.

Coordinates plans with Pentagon Force Protection Agency to improve and maintain Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection systems at all facilities.

Formulates policies and procedures, directs, and coordinates staff activities, and serves as the liaison and installations advisor between FSD and senior civilian and military leaders.

The Director, FSD, and/or appropriate FSD staff members, chair, co-chair, or otherwise support over 35 federal, quasi-governmental, DoD, or intra-DoD governance forums.

Monitors the effectiveness of ongoing programs and establishes and oversees comprehensive reviews of program functions, processes, and services to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
