Renowned as a key player in clinical trials in the western U.S., over 600 research studies are in progress at any given time.

Engaged in major federally funded programs, our client's physicians contribute to research covering a wide array of medical fields from Coronary Artery disease to Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis.

In this role, you will:

  • Set Research policies with financial implications
  • Make recommendations to enhance financial control and reporting systems
  • Provide leadership, career development, and oversight on research finance matters

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years in accounting/financial management
  • Minimum 3 years managing federal and non-federal research funds
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and research finance procedures

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Certification in finance, business, or accounting
  • CMA or CPA preferred
  • Experience with Lawson
