About Your Team


Your team is responsible for all aspects of managing agency finances to ensure we stay compliant with all applicable laws, and to continue the agency's mission to serve local communities.


What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for completing payments and overseeing expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Also, you will manage agency files and documentation with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.

Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily:

  • Process accounts payable in automated systems.
  • Input data, generate reports, and print checks for vendor payment.
  • Maintain files for invoices to include invoice accuracy, availability of proper ordering and receipt documentation, and correct payment amount.
  • Code all invoices with correct general ledger accounts in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill information requests and provide general administrative support to the department as needed.

Who You Are

Requirements, Skills & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience in finance or administration.
  • Knowledge of client confidentiality procedures strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.

Physical Requirements

Operational Staff:
This position involves work in an office setting.

Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods, communicating with colleagues, and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs.

The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods, bending, reaching, hearing and vision.
