THE ROLE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Owns the RFP business development process and delivers strategic, integrated processes & systems that scale across all accounts.
  • Act as a thought-leader for the LGM IMT team and its clients, aspects of retail brand marketing; project management, external communications; marketing and sales campaigns, and marketing KPI's & metrics.
  • Leads the development of LGM business, strategic marketing, communication and presentation decks to showcase the LGM divisions capabilities, and delivery of pertinent information to key clients and partnerships.
  • Owns the consumer journey, brand narrative and client relationships, client briefing process for seasonal product story telling across the omni-channel experience inclusive of digital platforms, ecomm & brick & mortar & special event experiences).
  • Compile annual marketing plans and analyze the effectiveness of plans, focusing on analytical insight to make recommendations on future merchandising activities.
  • Works in partnership with IMT team, program leads and merchandise team to find key apparel items, assortments, and collections to elevate across full omni-channel and digital ecommerce ecosystem.
  • In partnership with ecomm team, defines the on-site product assortment through retail brand photography, copy direction and site business plan to drive revenue.
  • Strong communication skills demonstrated through the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively through verbal and written presentation.
  • Monitor competitive programs and analyze consumer marketplace trends; understand the current trends in a specific city within that client's customer base.
  • Have working knowledge of all aspects of email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising,
  • Effectively manage merchandising budgets to deliver the plan and stay within budget.
  • Strong communication skills demonstrated through the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively through verbal and written presentation.
  • Be a team player and contribute to the general success of Legends Global Merchandising across all facets.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Industrious: Self-starter, process & results-oriented, diligent, overcomes obstacles
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of high-level experience in retail brand marketing and/or sports and entertainment marketing with proven leadership in personally directing major clients' initiatives in the sports, entertainment, and/or experiential space.
  • Hands-on, strong leader with a demonstrated track record in driving business results and developing a brand through strategic and tactical marketing efforts.
  • Extraordinary project management skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
  • B2B & B2C marketing excellence; trend awareness and execution being critical.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions
  • Retail Brand Marketing, Agency, Merchandise and/or sports operational background, a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • High energy, passionate personality that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and a competitive drive to win
  • Ability to develop creative proposals that meet and exceed potential partners' needs
