Job Summary: The Electronic Technician III role at KBR involves independently performing maintenance on complex electronic intrusion detection systems for government clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems
  • Providing recommendations for design problems
  • Performing system tests and analyzing results
  • Performing other assigned duties

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of eight years' experience in electronics, electrical, or communications field
  • Experience with intrusion detection systems and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in electronics technology or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Control Systems
  • Knowledge of network cabling and configuration
  • Ability to troubleshoot alarm circuits and utilize multimeter
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

Compensation: $35.86 per hour
