Accounting Coordinator

About the Role

Process sales incentive payments along with verification and data entry of Tax ID's and bank accounts for retailers in JTI's internal sales system (TME). First point of contact for the Sales force, manage the Accounting shared mailbox, respond and investigate issues/queries. Deposit and issue checks. Assist with employees with their corporate credit cards and Concur expense queries as required.

What you will do

  • Liaise cross functionally with Sales department diligently supporting their needs with payment investigations, discrepancies and resolution, and monitor the Accounting shared mailbox.
  • Daily processing of sales incentive payments in JTI's internal sales system (TME) including stop and reissue payments, verification and entering Tax ID and bank accounts into the system within a quick turnaround time.
  • Deposit checks, issue manual checks upon approval, and recording of the transactions.
  • Coordinate the issuance and terminations of corporate credit cards. Respond to queries with T&E expense claims in Concur.
  • Perform and support requests of additional duties or special projects from Manager as necessary.

Who We Are Looking For

A well-organized, passionate, and detailed-oriented person, with:

  • 4 year BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, or related fields.
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Fluency in English is essential to liaise with the Sales department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • General bookkeeping knowledge. Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Ability to work with automated payment systems.
  • Strong organizational and excellent communication skills is a must.
  • Ability to work efficiently and move work along at a brisk pace.
  • Focus on high results. Constant striving for maximum accuracy
