Job Description

  1. Program Planning and Budgeting:
  2. Assist in developing and maintaining detailed program schedules and budgets.
  3. Work with project managers and engineers to capture program requirements and translate them into detailed plans and estimates.
  4. Support the creation of baseline budgets and schedules for new and ongoing programs.
  5. Monitoring and Analysis:
  6. Regularly monitor actual program performance against planned performance, identifying variances and trends.
  7. Perform risk analysis and contingency planning to address potential program deviations.
  8. Generate financial and project reports for senior management, highlighting progress and areas of concern.
  9. Financial Management:
  10. Track program expenditures and commitments, ensuring they are within authorized budgets.
  11. Analyze financial data to provide cost forecasts and spending projections.
  12. Support the financial integration of program milestones with corporate financial systems.
  13. Stakeholder Communication:
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, supply chain, and finance.
  15. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, financial health, and risk management.
  16. Facilitate meetings and presentations to discuss program progress and issues.
  17. Continuous Improvement:
  18. Identify and implement process improvements in program control practices.
  19. Utilize project management tools and software to increase efficiency in tracking and reporting.
  20. Participate in audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

  21. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced finance degree is a plus.
