Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate all procurement requests using the designated Procurement Request Tool (PRT) in accordance with established business processes.
  • Analyze technical specifications following organizational protocols.
  • Conduct market analysis to gather pricing information and vendor interest for open purchases, documenting findings in the appropriate systems.
  • Record market research outcomes in the electronic purchase request database.
  • Offer insights to assist government personnel in identifying potential sources.
  • Facilitate decision-making for government employees by providing necessary information.
  • Research and document Unique Material Master (UMM) identification numbers for materials not listed in the supply system.
  • Accurately input purchase request information into the Navy ERP system, ensuring compliance with business practices.
  • Process Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) Purchase Requests in the Navy ERP system.
  • Manage P-card purchase requests in the Navy ERP system based on information from requirement generators.
  • Assist in processing outgoing funding documents within the Navy ERP framework.
  • Track the status of all initiated and assigned purchase requests throughout the Navy ERP workflow.
  • Review Navy ERP for any rejections and ensure timely approvals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical, programmatic, and system analysis within a DoD or government context.
  • Strong analytical skills, business insight, effective time management, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of technical experience supporting Department of Defense initiatives, including programmatic and equipment support.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project analysis or management, encompassing technology assessments, systems analysis, and procurement planning.
