The Role

The Senior Manager of Distribution Account Management is responsible for the day-to-day management and business development of the distribution partners which includes online travel agencies and Wholesale accounts. The role will be split between a few key performance metrics including: account management, optimization and analytics. As the distribution of WH&R continues to develop, this role will be crucial to support various partners with meetings as required. This position will be a driving force in the Distribution team to support the optimization of WH&R in the Distribution channels. This position will work closely with Connectivity, Operations and Revenue Management teams to plan and support project management of new strategies. The Senior Manager will provide internal support with regards to all aspects of Distribution, Online Travel Agencies, Wholesale Accounts and Global Distribution Systems.

What you'll do
  • Provide analysis of Key Performance Metrics to internal and external stakeholders with specific recommendations to maintain optimal exposure and fair share on 3rd party sites.
  • Represent Distribution department as SME in internal and external meetings, providing support to Distribution strategy.
  • Guide internal teams with best practices on various distribution channels including but not limited to franchise operations, revenue management, digital and finance.
  • Manage project management initiatives regarding rollout of new initiatives.
  • Establish weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with partners as needed.
  • Responsible for revenue analysis for key partners and channels.
  • Analysis of chain partner data to identify new revenue generating opportunities.
  • Account management and other duties of Distribution partners.
  • Identify operational and efficiencies and streamline processes.

Required Qualifications/Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality account management, knowledge of Distribution channels preferred.
  • Proven track record of project delivery.
  • Market Management Experience preferred.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience with PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree, in related field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in Excel
  • E-commerce or travel industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Availability to travel at least 25% of the time.
