- Must be a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from accredited program
- Completion of a General Psychiatry residency from an accredited program is required
- Completion of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship from an accredited program is required
- Licensed as a physician and a surgeon in the State of Illinois or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to starting employment is required
- Valid Illinois and Federal controlled substance license or have the ability to obtain prior to starting employment is required
- Must be board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Must be board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the ABPN
- 5 or more years of experience providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment to patients is required
- 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in a complex healthcare environment is required
- 3 years of administrative and management experience in a multi-faceted psychiatry department is required
- Experience providing emergency and inpatient psychiatric consultations to medical ill patients is required
- Experience managing services and scheduling is required
- Bilingual skills are highly preferred
