About the Department

The Department of Neurosurgery is a distinguished faculty with a rich history and is renowned across various disciplines, including excellence in cranial base surgery, comprehensive stroke, spine surgical care, peripheral nerve injuries and disorders, as well as the treatment of benign and malignant tumors. The Department has a strong reputation for cultivating exceptional neurosurgeons through its residency program and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier clinical services and scholarship recognized locally and nationally.
  • Set strategic goals, inspire and mentor teams, and work collaboratively.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the complexities of an academic health system with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and board certification in neurosurgery with current academic appointment at the associate professor level or above.
