Overview

In this role as Web Designer and Developer, you will work with a cross-functional team to plan and execute digital strategy, user experience, and research into a digital roadmap. You understand web development and how to drive toward positive outcomes. You have web development and CMS management experience. You are familiar with B2B marketing and best practices. You stay up to date on the everchanging digital landscape.


Responsibilities


• Web Design:

o Design engaging and responsive web pages that enhance user experience.
o Develop mockups and wireframes for website pages and features.
o Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all web properties.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to design web elements that align with campaign goals.


• Web Development:

o Develop and maintain high quality, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
o Manage our content management system (CMS), WordPress.
o Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.
o Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.


• Collaboration & Project Management:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and product teams, to ensure alignment on web projects.
o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
o Stay up to date with the latest web design and development trends, tools, and best practices.


• SEO & Analytics:

o Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility and ranking.
o Utilize web analytics tools to monitor site performance and user behavior and provide actionable insights.


• Maintenance & Updates:

o Regularly update website content, structure, and design elements as needed.
o Conduct website audits to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with WordPress.

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

• Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush)

• Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma.

• Strong portfolio showcasing web design and development projects.

• Experience in UX, wireframes and journey mapping.

• Understanding of web architecture and best practices.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. This is a full-time, remote position with a base salary range of $76,000 to $98,000k, bonus eligible.
