Position Summary
A part-time fixed term lecturer position beginning August 2024. This is a one-year appointment. Teaching area will focus primarily on design studio and CAD classes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or three years of industry experience.
Ability to teach lower-level fashion design studios including patterning.
Competent user of industry sewing equipment.
Fluency in Adobe Illustrator.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Fashion Design or closely related field or 7 years of industry experience.
Ability to teach upper-division and lower-division fashion design undergraduate courses.
Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud software for digital product visualizations and presentation.
