About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Claire's. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and promoting our products.
  • In the absence of other management, open and close the store, ensuring it trades safely and legally.
  • Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring our customers have a positive experience.
  • Assist customers with their queries, using your product knowledge to provide solutions.
  • Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
  • Perform ear piercing duties, with full training provided.
  • Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Some high school education required.
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate a POS system.
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
