Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and employee expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain vendor records, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and train AP team members to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Prepare month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on AP metrics and KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to accounts payable.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10 + years of experience in accounts payable roles, with at least 4years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong proficiency inlarge ERP system is required.
- Excellent knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Location: San Antonio, with potential travel.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
