We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team at EverBright The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading the implementation of our testing efforts via the design and development of automated testing frameworks, mentorship and guidance of junior QA engineers, and utilization of industry-standard best practices in our testing processes.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will work with others to design and implement scalable and robust software solutions.
What You Will Do:
Design and develop automated testing frameworks and tools using industry-standard tools and frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and requirementsDefine and implement testing strategies and methodologies that are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practicesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineersReview and provide feedback on test plans, test cases, and automation scriptsEnsure all test cases are executed and documented according to best practices and company standardsAnalyze and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement and optimization Continuously improve test coverage and automation scripts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testingContribute to the development and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment pipelinesStay up to date with advancements in testing automation, and provide recommendations for improvement where sensible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and3+ years demonstrated experience in software test engineering while mentoring, OR 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software test engineeringExperience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScriptExperience using automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium, or Cypress) Experience with testing frameworks for APIs, databases, and other backend systemsExperience with data-related tools (DBT, Azure, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Teradta, MySQL, etc). Knowledge of Software testing methodologies, testing tools, and best practicesExperience with Agile development methodologies and practice
