Prime Video finance is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Finance, Strategy, and Analytics teams to drive better understanding and optimization of investments across Prime Video's key international markets.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who is passionate about the streaming video industry and looking for a challenge in a high-growth, new business environment.

The successful candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools (Excel, SQL), and can partner with finance and business leaders to deep-dive complex business problems to deliver actionable insights.

This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with strong data gathering and analytical skills.

Key job responsibilities

  • Enhance controllership mechanisms around P&L and balance sheet, driving learnings around spend variances to plan and forecasting
  • Analyze ROI of different content programs to optimize investments globally
  • Partner with Analytics teams to expand and scale our core data platforms and investment appraisal toolkit
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
