Team Overview:
Within the Customer Relationship and Marketing Technology (CRMT) team at Prime Video, our goal is to develop and enhance a comprehensive customer relationship management program, delivering tailored and automated marketing communications to Prime Video users globally.
Our team is dedicated to building and managing customer communication initiatives across Prime Video's various marketing channels, including emails, app notifications, and promotional campaigns.
We aim to ensure that every Amazon customer remains engaged with Prime Video and the broader Amazon ecosystem throughout their entire customer journey.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to spearhead the architecture and development of In-App Marketing functionalities within the Prime Video applications (Android, iOS, Web, and Living Room).
This position offers complete ownership of features, encompassing both front-end and back-end responsibilities—from design through to deployment.
In this role, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the future of Prime Video experiences, particularly in areas such as Live Sports, Movies, and TV Shows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new features for Prime Video applications across various platforms (iOS, Android, Web, and Fire TV), collaborating with multiple teams.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with team members to explore design options, prototype new technologies, and assess technical feasibility.
- Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to refine the user experience.
- Operate within an agile/scrum framework to deliver high-quality software on tight schedules.
- Establish architectural guidelines, select appropriate design patterns, and mentor team members in their application.
- Define and enforce standards while promoting best practices within the mobile development team.
- Analyze and optimize applications to enhance performance and scalability, considering mobile network limitations.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 4 years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
- More than 4 years of experience in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design and algorithm analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience in full-stack development.
