Critical Action Items:

  • Familiarity with Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM).
  • Executes defined tasks and contributes to solving problems with defined solutions.
  • Manage low, medium, and high-tier security-related tickets.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of common security concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Technology and Computer Science field.
  • Analysis, detection, and investigation efforts of security events that impact the enterprise.
  • Administration of defensive security systems such as anti-virus, intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, and/or vulnerability scanners.
  • Detection of suspicious/malicious intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event details and summary information.
  • Identifying information security issues and providing support during incident response that includes cyber threat analysis support, research, and recommending relevant remediation and mitigation.
  • Working with external security providers to triage and assist in cybersecurity functions.
  • Assisting in the development of cybersecurity playbooks and policies.
  • Daily collaboration with IT Teams and Leadership on security and project-related issues in one or more Technology Solutions functional areas (e.g., data, systems, network, and/or applications) across the enterprise.
  • Being a part of a security team supporting the enterprise.
Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding of Information Technology Security concepts and systems.
  • Strong proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities in a large-scale operational environment.
  • Capable of analyzing data, recognizing problems, and drawing logical conclusions.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret information as it pertains to compliance-related functions and regulations.
  • Ability to follow instruction and to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Overview of Network Security devices, Cisco platform is required.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security controls and security best practices.
  • You will help design, deploy, and operate cybersecurity features and tools related to the Azure platform offering.
  • Subject matter expert in applying cybersecurity concepts and techniques, such as vulnerability management, incident response, configuration monitoring, and endpoint protection.
  • Good understanding of Fortinet products line-up, solid security background, configuration, and management for FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, (FortiOS version 7), Sophos firewall UTM 9 and above.
  • Proven experience in Fortinet Firewall Engineering practicing.
  • Must be proficient at IP routing, NAT, layer 2 switching, stateful firewall, IPSec VPNs, SSLVPNs, and general security design and implementation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security practices, including encryption, data protection, network security, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-On Azure Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and compliance of our Azure-based systems and applications.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in architecting and implementing secure solutions.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies within the hybrid Azure and on-premises environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and tools, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure AD B2C, and OAuth, (Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk Management and Risk Registry Assessment / Security Assessment.
  • Experienced with O365 Threat analysis.
  • All-round experience across infrastructure, cloud and/or on-prem network. With Zero Trust /Identity.
  • Microsoft Azure Zero Trust implementation experience a plus.
Hands-on experience using and/or configuration of one or more of the following, are a plus:

  • Azure Sentinel (SIEM), monitor, analyze and manage security events and incidents.
  • ARM (Azure Resource management)
  • Proficiency with vulnerability scanning solutions (Tenable Nessus Pro)
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud/ Defender for End Point/ MS Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Intune, Email Security (Phishing Email and Risky Sign-In)
  • Microsoft Defender for External Attack Surface Management
  • Cyber Security tools such as Kali Linux and Nmap
  • Ability to work independently as part of the Cyber Security team.
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and technical skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Strong troubleshooting and proactive analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 suite including Visio.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Certification Requirements:

Fortinet Certification:
Minimum NSE 5 is required.

  • One or more active security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CEH, Cloud+, CCSP)

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Expert
